Recently Mr Kenneth Robinson 83 of Carlisle in Cumbria had his prized scooter stolen, by heartless thieves, from his outside his flat, leaving him a prisoner in his own home.
We here at Quingo understand just how important a scooter can be in someone’s life, not just for day to day tasks, but keeping them in touch with loved ones, the community and returning their freedom and independence.
On hearing of Mr Robinson’s plight from Sue Windscheffel, the Trading Manager for Age UK Carlisle and Eden, Managing Director of Quingo, Mark Nicholls, instantly decided he would like to help and donated to Mr Robinson a Quingo Classic with a full 12 month warranty!
Age UK Carlisle have added to this by purchasing 12 months insurance as well.
5 Wheeled Quingo scooters are quite unique and offer much enhanced safety, comfort and agility over and above 3 and 4 wheel models and are the only product to be endorsed and recommended by Age UK.
The Scooter will be presented to Mr Robinson by Mike Holborn, Business Development Manager for the company and afterwards will be individually customized by senior engineer Alan Eldridge to meet his specific needs.
